New Teachers and New Instruments in 2020!

As usual, summer is blazing by and we’re already over halfway through with our Summer session! As we set our sights on the new challenges and upcoming victories of the Fall 2020 session, we are excited to be offering classical strings lessons with our new studio teachers Kelsey Meigs and Kevin Goddard!

Kelsey has been with StudioK since 2019 and her students know they can expect positive encouragement in lessons catered to their learning styles and musical tastes. We knew she was a great fit for StudioK because she so embodies one of our core values: Improving your confidence, which is something Kelsey focuses on with every student and every lesson. Kelsey has a background of teaching violin in the styles of Bluegrass, Old Time, and Country music, as well as extensive fiddle experience.

Kevin joined us this June and teaches classical string instruments including the viola, cello, double bass, and violin. We could tell he was comfortable teaching a wide variety of ages and skill ranges, and his teaching experience backed that up – he’s directed orchestras for students from 4th grade through high school and teaches private lessons for all ages.

Like all of us at StudioK, Kelsey and Kevin want to help their students succeed and we believe that tailoring each lesson to your unique needs and styles is a key element in that success.  We’re passionate about providing a judgement-free learning space and we know you’ll find that at StudioK.

Call today to ask about our Fall session, and stay tuned for more updates this month!
